ADMISSION INTO COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICERS’ TRAINING PROGRAMME 2021/2022 ADMISSION SESSION

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Community Health Officers’ Training Programme for 2021/2022academic session at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife.

The training which lasts for two Calender years will commence in September, 2021, leading to the award of Higher Diploma in Community Health.

West African School Certificate/GCE “0” level. Or Senior Secondary School Certificate (NECO) with five credits passes at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

In addition to qualification in (a) above, candidates must possess any of the following Professional Qualification and experience for eligibility to apply.

1. Diploma in Community Health with not less than two years post qualification experience.
2. Community Health Extension Worker Certificate with 5 years’ experience.
3. Applicant must be Registered with Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess current practicing license.

Selection for admission will be based on candidates’ performance at a competitive written test and oral interview to be conducted on Monday, 12^th and Tuesday, 13^th July, 2021 respectively.

Candidates are to bring their original certificates and practicing licenses to the examination centre.

Application forms are obtainable from the Community Health Officers’ Programme, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife at a cost of Ten Hundred Naira (N10,000.00) only, after payment into OAUTHC’S TSA Recurrent Account via REMITA PLATFORM through any commercial bank of your choice and indicate the purpose of payment as “Admission Form into CHO Training Programmes.”

Thereafter, the evidence of payment should be brought to the school to collect admission form.

Completed application forms duly endorsed by sponsors, together with photocopies of relevant credentials should be forwarded to the Community Health Officers’ Training Programme, Obafemi Awolowo University Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife not later than Friday, 2^nd July, 2021.
