Job Title: Senior Medical Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Medical Administrator
Summary Of Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for coordinating medical and medical administrative duties in our Ikoyi facility.
- Coordinate the duties of the medical officers, ensuring that patient care and management is optimal and is in adherence to the clinical guidelines.
- Liaising with consultants on patients’ medical condition and refer specialist cases to appropriate specialist clinics.
- Perform medical administrative duties such as liaising with corporate clients and HMOs for authorization and approval for major procedures.
- Supervisory and managerial cover for medical officers and planning duty schedules.
- Write and review medical reports as required.
- Oversee pre-employment examinations and write medical reports when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation of patients’ encounters.
- Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances.
- Other duties as assigned by the Medical Administrator

Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the Medical / Clinical field (MBBS).
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with a valid medical practicing license.
- 4-6 years clinical experience with 1-2 years in a team leadership role.
- Post graduate degree in Business Administration / Public Administration / Public Health/ healthcare administration will be an added advantage.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with a valid medical practicing license.
- Certifications/Trainings in customer service, relationship management, and business analysis are desired.
